  • Cover their needs for medicines and health products;
  • Donate their surplus of medicine and health products;
  • Manage their stock of medicines and health products online.

In addition to non-profit organizations, individuals and pharmaceutical companies are also users of the platform and donate pharmaceuticals through it. Since 2016, GivMed has provided over 435,000 boxes of medicine and 298,122 hygiene products, valued at €6,473,122, through a network of 187 organizations.

Program for Flood-Stricken Individuals in Thessaly

The grant regards a program for medicine and hygiene product donation for victims of Storm Daniel in September 2023 in Thessaly. The program will provide pharmaceuticals and hygiene products to a GIVMED network of approximately 20 organizations that will coordinate donations in the affected areas. The GIVMED project team will monitor the needs and surplus of medicines and health products registered by each organization during the ordering period and facilitate pharmaceutical needs being met. Additionally, GIVMED will create emergency packages of medicines and hygiene products for areas at high risk of natural disasters in 2024. The estimated beneficiaries are approximately 2,500 persons, out of which 65% will be elderly individuals.
