Youthnest, through a Points of Support grant of the TIMA Charitable Foundation, researched and analyzed the “Help at Home” Service of the Municipality of Thessaloniki. All elements of the Service were studied, including the service’s effectiveness, employee skills & training, as well as beneficiaries’ experiences and feedback. Youthnest also created an extensive questionnaire regarding the Service that was sent to 44 different Municipalities throughout Greece. Responses from these Municipalities were collected and interpreted and used towards the creation of the Service Redesign Toolkit. The Toolkit provides uses international service design best practices and provides specific ideas and tangible proposals on how to improve the “Help at Home” Service.
