Manual Publication

Seveneleven was founded in 2013 by two actors aiming to produce theatrical performances. Seveneleven quickly gained experience in specialized, holistic, recreational programs for care homes and the elderly.

Performance

In 2014, through a TIMA grant, Seveneleven implemented the first recreational program that involved visits to 12 care homes. With the experience gained, in 2015, Seveneleven continued by offering weekly recreational visits to one care home. In 2017, Seveneleven began implementing Thallo, a holistic recreational program for care homes. It is also training volunteers for the program’s sustainability as well as other teams for the creation of similar programs throughout Greece.

The grant regards the publication of a manual packed with information on mental strengthening exercises & techniques directed to elderly persons. The methodology has been developed through the organization’s experience with elderly recreational programs. Apart from elderly persons, the use of the manual will be for caregivers and health professionals.

This grant is implemented through the Points of Support program III.
