Margarita is a Day Care and Vocational Training Center for people with mild and moderate learning disabilities. It currently trains 100 people and graduates of the training center are employed in various capacities. Tuition is free and students are admitted to the Center following an assessment by a group of experts.

Best Practices for the Elderly Mentally Disabled

 

The grant regards the mapping of organizations and best practices for the elderly mentally disabled, in collaboration with the Association of Parents of Mentally Disabled Individuals. The goal is to inform, record and disseminate best practices that improve the quality of life of the elderly mentally disabled, enable them to live relatively autonomously and be able to participate in society. The results will be published and presented at a conference that will be open to the public.

This grant is implemented through the Points of Support program III.
