Caritas Athens is a member of Caritas Hellas, belonging to the International Caritas, a charity organization that operates in more than 200 countries around the world. Some of Caritas Athens’ programs are the “Hot Meal Program” offering hot meals to approximately 400 people in need, and the “Family Packages Program” offering monthly packages of food supplies to indigent families. Additional services include clothes distribution, employment counseling and psychological support.
