Their aim is to support individuals in situations where feelings of loneliness, isolation and insecurity abound, embracing children, the elderly and people with disabilities to help them reach “their inner joy, optimism, faith and spiritual strength”. The team is made up of professional artists (including actors and musicians), music therapists, psychologists and scientific advisors. To date, the organization have implemented over 5,300 activities with 116 partner organizations to over 14,500 beneficiaries.

The grant regards the organization of live online musical performances for four care homes in Athens, a care home in Larissa and for the elderly beneficiaries of the Ladies Union of Drama. The performance is called “OLD ATHENS” and is an online live music and dance program for the elderly. Each performance is performed live and carried out in close cooperation and support of the staff of each care home or partner. “Old Athens”, has been successfully implemented live since 2014 in 60 facilities and for more than 3,500 elderly people in Attica. In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, the multidisciplinary team adapted the program into an online performance from a studio.
