“Digital Bridges Program” for Seniors
The grant regards the creation of the “Digital Bridges Program”, aiming is to teach and familiarize elderly residents of the Municipality of Megara with digital technologies. Theognis will organize two cycles of educational seminars of 15 weeks each, designed by specialists in the digital technology field in collaboration with educators trained in elderly learning methodologies. At the same time, during the 30-week duration, digital training workshops of a shorter duration will be held at the Open Protection Centers for the Elderly in the Municipalities of Megara, Nea Peramos and Kinetta for the participation of even more seniors who cannot participate in the seminars. The ultimate objective of the program is to strengthen seniors’ digital skills and knowledge, enabling them to use technology in their daily lives. A total of approximately 400 senior beneficiaries will benefit from the program.
