“Caring for the Caregiver” Program
The grant regards two vocational programs that will prepare unemployed youth and vulnerable groups, such as refugees and long-term unemployed, for careers as caregivers for elderly individuals with disabilities or dementia. Graduates will be matched with employers in the sector, addressing the acute shortage of skilled staff. In parallel, training seminars will upskill current caregivers lacking formal education, enhancing the quality and safety of care.
