Mobile Mental Health Unit
The grant regards a mobile mental health unit that will address critical gaps in community-based dementia support by providing integrated medical, psychological, and practical assistance to prevent institutionalization. Core services include specialized training for caregivers on behavioral disorder management, nursing care techniques for bedridden patients, and psychological support to address caregiver depression and reduce abuse incidents. Families will receive essential legal, insurance, and financial consulting to navigate complex care arrangements. The multidisciplinary team comprises a social worker for holistic family support, psychologist for caregiver mental health and a registered nurse for medical care training. This integrated approach aims to improve quality of life for both patients and their caregivers.
