Anemos has specialized staff in areas such as sports psychology, coaching, training, education, arts and cultural management. The organization develops activities that combine sport, education, culture and social inclusion, and also implements sports programs for people with disabilities.

Exercise Program for Seniors

 

The grant regards “Blue-Green Paths”, an outdoor exercise program for elderly persons.  The program will combine gentle physical activities (such as walking, yoga, paddling, canoeing, and other exercises) with ecopsychology practices (e.g., mindfulness in nature, storytelling, etc.). Weekly sessions will be held in Chania and other nearby locations, facilitated by experienced instructors, ensuring safety and therapeutic value. An initial seminar for ecopsychology, health, and exercise will be offered at the beginning of the program. The program will serve more than 80 elderly participants aged 65+ from Western Crete (Chania), prioritizing individuals who live alone, have limited mobility, or face emotional/mental health challenges.
