The Greek School was founded in 1965 by the Greek local community of Nice, Côte d’Azur and Monaco with the aim to preserve the Greek language and traditions. The school provides children and adults, Greeks and Philhellenes, with education in Greek language and culture, including mythology, history, painting and poetry. It operates branches in Nice, Cannes and Monaco. In 2011, approximately 50 children and more than 50 adults attended classes. A new room was inaugurated in May 2012.
