The care home is the only nonprofit care home in Naousa and one of two in the prefecture of Imathia. In 2015, approximately 35 elders were residing at the Care Home, with a maximum capacity of 48. The Home offers additional services to its residents, such as physical therapy, physical education and occupational therapy sessions. Recreational activities are offered by volunteers several times per week.

The grant regards renovation works of the exterior insulation of the care home’s building. This will render it more energy efficient and will significantly lower heating costs of the care home. Given that Naousa is located in the northern part of Greece, the winter months are colder compared to the rest of country.
