The services provided at the three Centers include creative pursuits, occupational therapy, recreational activities and a care at home program. Two of the Centers also offer physiotherapy both at their premises and as part of the care at home program. With the help of volunteers, various additional activities are offered including chorus, dance, fitness and crafts. The Centers have approximately 1,300 members, 170 of which visit them on a daily basis.
The grant regards the purchase of medical equipment used for the physiotherapy services of the two Open Protection Centers for the Elderly. The equipment will also be used to treat elderly patients at home through the care at home program.
