The Home for the Elderly and Bedridden of the Friends of the Poor Fund of St. Georgios Kypseli Church was founded in 1975 with the aim to provide nursing and care to elderly parishioners and to local residents. Since it moved to its current building in 1990 and as the needs increased, it started accepting elderly from around Athens. The 5-storey building can accommodate up to 78 senior residents.
