In 1972, Asylo Aniaton established its legal entity, the Foundation for Care of Neurological Illnesses. Asylo Aniaton cares for around 110 patients, 80% of which are elderly and bedridden. It has a staff of 100 individuals of various specialties and, since its establishment, approximately 9,000 individuals have been cared for, a large proportion of whom were low-income seniors. Asylo Aniaton provides a variety of services to its residents which include: physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, group arts and crafts, musical activities and excursions & visits.

The grant regards the provision of medical equipment, such as oxygen concentrators, volumetric infusion pumps, medical suction devices, and vital signs monitors for patient care, essential for its operation.
