The care home hosts 52 elderly residents of whom the majority is bedridden. The organization also runs a non-profit daycare (for approximately 50 children aged 6 months–3 years) in the same building. Additionally, as wider outreach it operates a meal provision program to low-income residents of the area, as well as a medical equipment loan bank supporting the care at home of seniors across the regions of Corinth, Patras and Kalavryta.

The grant regards support toward a complete fire-safety overhaul of the facility. Works include replacement of all 85 fire detectors, a new 16-zone control panel, new external hydrants, a fire-resistant door as well as evacuation plans and staff training, crucial for bedridden residents.
