The free provision of food and clothing is a primary objective of the Association. The categories of people the organization serves are people with special needs or families with disabled members, the unemployed, large families, single-parent families and elderly people. The organization also offers free psychological support and counselling. It connects individuals with other social organizations and advises on employment. To date, the Association has supported over 1,500 unique beneficiaries and it currently consistently supports 82 vulnerable families living below the poverty line.

The grant regards the purchase of a van to transport elderly isolated residents of Zakynthos as well as some handicapped residents from villages to the main town for the purposes of medical examinations, visits to social welfare services, and other necessary visits. The van will be a hybrid, ensuring in this way lower gasoline and operating expenses for Stirizo.
