Supporting the awarded Arta Music School

Arta Music School is one of 42 public music schools in Greece. It was founded in 2009 with the aim to teach children of the Arta prefecture musical education. In November 2012, the Arta Music School received the 3rd place Award in the category of "Generations @ School" for the "European Year for Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations 2012". The award was granted to the School for its "Two Generations at School" program. This program involves a series of recreational and informative activities performed by the school’s students and by their grandparents. Music was the underlining element to all the shared activities. This award showcases the School’s commitment to unite the younger and older generation through music.

The TIMA Charitable Foundation supports the Arta Music School through the purchase of musical instruments and equipment that will not only enhance the school’s educational experience but will also permit the continuation of the "Two Generations at School" program.
