Médecins Sans Frontières is an international medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare. It offers assistance to people based on need, irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation. Médecins Sans Frontières was founded in Paris in 1971 and in 2014 was involved in 450 programs in 65 countries. Since its founding in 1990, the Greek section of Médecins Sans Frontières has operated a series of projects targeting either people who have no access to health care, or victims of natural disasters.
The grant regards the creation of a Mobile Health Clinic that offers medical services and psychosocial support to people excluded from the national health care system.
